A long time ago my friend told me Tod Dockstader was the only person he knew who could make pure electronic music emotional.
I don't think i agree, but i got his point. http://dockstader.info/

vexations

In order to play this motif 840 times consecutively to oneself, it will be useful to prepare oneself beforehand, and in utter silence, by grave immobilities., E. Satie

untitled

Schoenberg. destroyer. Pretty string quartets. the piano with a thump. Not really suppose to vibrate like that. The notes do not fit, he was paid. Moses and Napoleon. paid quite well. I wonder did he spill coffee on his scores. Harmony - counterpoint, these were everything. why does it matter now?  it doesn't we don't see counterpoint. we don't need harmony. Did he drink coffee all day. Maybe he died from coffee complications. Pencil, pen. He conducted Mahler. I saw him in Berlin. i sat in a chair next to a 75  year old woman who cried at the end. i secretly recorded it. The music, not the crying.
He was there with his student Alban. We had fresh caught trout for dinner. with potatoes.
i don't know how she felt about him. She liked the recordings. There were moments. Why Napoleon?  We will never know. It can be difficult. He was a Jew and the Moon was drunken.
Pierrot. There was never anything like, still not. an intimate film, a casual surgery, a life in cartoon. twelve tones are not a new idea. but. then. we need time get used to things we don't understand.  we don't understand cuz you can't hear it in Union Square. You can't hear it in Union Square because, i don't know why. Op.76
